Private Lesson Policy
The Newport Hills Community Association has its own employees who are approved to conduct instruction in the pool.
Private lessons can be set up through the NHST website:

Outside instruction is prohibited until approval from the HOA. If you would like to bring in your own instructor, they must first be approved by the Newport Hill’s HOA managing office. Approval requires insurance and up to date aquatic lifesaving certification.
A private lesson is defined as instruction of 2 or less individuals at a time, and trying to utilize one lane per instructor.
Group lessons of 3 or more individuals is not allowed by any instructor as a private lesson. Group lessons would need to be presented to the board.

Please be sure to mark your calendars noting that the community pool will be closed until approximately 5:00 p.m. due to home swim meets on the following dates: May 10th, May 17th, May 31st and June 14th. We have also provided a list of pool/pool deck events that are scheduled below so you can plan accordingly. The pool is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day and is heated year-round. Pool Monitors will be on weekend duty beginning Memorial Weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m. Please review the Pool Monitor schedule that has been included below. Pool Monitors are on the deck to ensure all pool rules are followed and that owners/tenants and their guests are the only people utilizing the facility. There are NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY.
All members are requested to bring a pool key to gain access to the pool area. Pool Monitors will not be opening the gate for members this summer, as it takes them away from their duties. All homeowners will be required to sign in when coming into the pool area and are requested to review and become familiar with the pool rules which are posted at the pool area near the restrooms. The Association offers many aquatic activities for your children, ranging from Swim Team, Water Polo, Mini Guards, and private swim lessons.
